A Lovely Stay with Tasteful Dining
We enjoyed our four nights in a cozy double room. A highlight was the fresh, delicious Boxing Day meal we had outside. the cod tasted incredibly fresh. Tip, consider dining in for a delightful meal! Just be mindful of potential noise from neighboring rooms.

This place suits me perfectly with free parking, a restaurant, and excellent wi-fi. I still remember when the staff helped me with an insect bite on my first stay. The team is always kind and attentive. I'm coming back for Christmas!

My stay at the inn was fantastic, especially enjoying the beautiful Tarka trail just a 10-minute walk away and the vibrant Pannier Market, which is almost 2 km from the property, filled with local charm and history. the staff were exceptional and made sure we felt right at home with our dog, which truly enhanced our weekend getaway experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! We kicked off our stay with welcome drinks at an exhibition, then did a deep dive tour of the distillery. Our rooms were comfy, and breakfast was spot on! Totally recommend checking it out, but a heads-up that the car park could use some love.
Unfortunately, our dining experience was marred when one friend received a microwaved fishcake. Not the best impression, especially when we were expecting quality food.

Great breakfast, but the smell…
The breakfast was so good, and the staff were super friendly! My room had a strong dog smell, probably from previous stays. Made it tough for my pup. I wished I’d brought a raised bed for her. that, everything else was lovely! The dining options were solid too, especially breakfast.

Just a suitable option for a city escape in Barnstaple with good price-value balance. The bathroom was superb with a deep bath and contemporary tiling. Look for parking options in advance to save time.

Great place for families, good amenities
The room we had was excellent. Clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The staff were friendly, even brought us extra tea and coffee without hesitation.
It wasn't exactly cheap but I’d say still acceptable for what we got.

The Double Room was really nice! Huge super king-size bed that was super comfy, and the bathroom was a good size. I loved the walk-in shower, but it could've been a bit cleaner in the corners. Had a cute little issue with privacy since the shower cubicle had no blind, so if anyone walked by, they'd get a glimpse. But overall, it was a spacious and cozy place to relax.
